Some Companions claim a tent the way children do, slipping inside simply because it is theirs. TUTO pitches that feeling for good: two Baltic birch plywood triangles, three dowels, and a soft linen roof sloping down both sides. A camp in the room that never packs away.

Why your Companion settles in

A slim microfiber cushion lies across the floor of the tent, the first thing they touch when they duck inside, a cover that slides off to wash.

Linen walls slope overhead, light filtering through soft and shaded, the kind of den they choose on their own.

The doorway stays open and the linen breathes, air moving through so the inside stays fresh, never stuffy.

Shipping & assembly

TUTO arrives flat. Slide the three dowels through the soft roof, set them across the two Baltic birch plywood ends, and fix each one in place with the provided screws and Allen key. Set the cushion on the floor inside and it stands on its own. Ships across Egypt in 7 to 10 business days.

Materials & care

Baltic birch plywood ends with the laminations left visible and a soft linen roof, built by hand in our Cairo workshop. The cushion is a microfiber core in a washable cushion cover: lift the cushion cover off, machine-wash cold, air-dry and reinsert. Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.

The piece

A tent, built to stay.

TUTO is the oldest shape of shelter, a tent, drawn in two Baltic birch plywood ends and a soft roof between them. A Companion steps through the open front into a retreat that closes overhead and behind, soft on every side, while the doorway stays open on the room.

It is two triangular ends and three dowels. The soft roof slides onto the dowels, each one fixes into the front and back with the screws and key, and the linen pulls taut into the roof and both sloping sides in one piece. A slim cushion rests on the floor inside. No hard walls, just a frame and a soft skin drawn close.
