TUTO arrives flat. Slide the three dowels through the soft roof, set them across the two Baltic birch plywood ends, and fix each one in place with the provided screws and Allen key. Set the cushion on the floor inside. About ten minutes, and the tent is pitched. Ships free across Egypt within 5 business days. Materials & care
Baltic birch plywood ends with the laminations left visible and a soft linen roof, built in our Cairo workshop. The cushion is a microfiber insert in a washable linen cushion cover: lift the cover off, machine-wash at 30°C, air-dry and reinsert. Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth and don’t leave it sitting in water.

The piece
A tent, built to stay.
TUTO is the oldest shape of shelter, a tent, drawn in two Baltic birch plywood ends and a soft roof between them. A Companion steps through the open front into a retreat that closes overhead and behind, soft on every side, while the doorway stays open on the room.
It is two triangular ends and three dowels. The soft roof slides onto the dowels, each one fixes into the front and back with the screws and key, and the linen pulls taut into the roof and both sloping sides in one piece. A slim cushion rests on the floor inside. No hard walls, just a frame and a soft skin drawn close.

How do I encourage my Companion to use TUTO?
A few things can help:
- Put an old T-shirt or something carrying your scent inside.
- Place a favourite treat or toy just inside the entrance.
- Let them explore on their own. Never force them inside.
- Reward them when they approach or settle inside.
- Move nearby beds and blankets away at first.
- Keep TUTO accessible and give them time.
Where should I place TUTO?
Place TUTO somewhere your Companion already likes to rest.
Choose a quiet corner away from busy walkways and keep the entrance clear. If they like watching the room, angle the entrance toward it rather than into a wall.
What happens when TUTO arrives?
Inspect TUTO before you accept it. If anything isn’t right, send it straight back with the courier. You don’t pay, or if you already have, we’ll refund you in full.
You can also return it within 14 days if it’s in brand-new condition, unused and in its original packaging.
TUTO carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the structure. Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll sort it out immediately.
How do I put TUTO together?
TUTO arrives flat and takes about 10 minutes to assemble:
- Stand the front and back triangular panels upright.
- Slide the linen roof onto the dowels through the slots and draw it over both sides.
- Position the three wooden dowels between them: one at the ridge and two along the base.
- Secure them with the six provided screws.
- Place the microfiber cushion inside.
How do I clean TUTO?
Machine-wash the removable linen roof and cushion cover at 30°C, then air-dry.
Remove the microfiber insert first. Never machine-wash the insert.
Wipe the plywood with a soft, damp cloth and don’t leave it sitting in water.
Are the materials safe for my Companion?
Yes. TUTO is made from Baltic birch plywood, linen and microfiber, with no harmful finishes or adhesives.

the cushion is slimmer than the orthopedic ones but it works really well for my cat. easy to remove and clean and the whole tent fits nicely beside the sofa
bisco keeps hiding in it and attacking us from inside if someone tries to get him out, love itt 😂
