Materials & care

Hand-finished curved Baltic birch plywood with laser-cut louvres, built by hand in our Cairo workshop. The cushion is a 3 cm microfiber core in a washable cover: lift the cover off, machine-wash cold, air-dry and reinsert. Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.

LELY also takes custom orders. If you have a particular size, finish or proportion in mind, write to us before ordering and we will shape a piece around your home and your Companion. Custom pieces are made to order, with timeline and shipping confirmed with you before work begins.

The piece

The quiet at the top of the arch.

LELY is drawn as a single tall arch, two panels rising to a soft point with a body of fine slats bent over the peak. Light falls through the louvres in thin lines from above, the sides hold close below, and a Companion steps through the tall doorway into a place that feels set apart without ever leaving the room. Inside, a soft cushion waits on the floor. Nothing is draped and nothing added, the curved wood is the whole shelter, finished by hand. The tallest of the Muse vaults, drawn as one rising line.
