Why your Companion settles in
A slim microfiber cushion nests into the curve of the drum, the shape itself holding them, a cover that slides off to wash.
A solid back closes the drum behind them, cover at their back while the whole room stays in view.
Light and air move through the louvres all day, so the inside stays bright and fresh, never stale.
Why it belongs in your room
An open slatted drum on a low stand, sculptural from every angle, including behind.
Curved Baltic birch plywood and laser-cut slats, nothing draped or dressed over it.
Ships fully assembled, a finished piece from the moment it arrives.
The thinking inside.
Fine slats run the curved body, so light and air pass straight through.
One round opening at the front, a solid disc closing the drum behind. Step in, turn once, settle into the curve, covered where they cannot see and open where they can.
A slim microfiber cushion in a washable linen cover, dipped into the cradle of the drum.
A low wood stand holds the drum off the floor and keeps it from rolling.

Frequently asked questions
How do I encourage my Companion to use GIGI?
A few things can help:
- Put an old T-shirt or something carrying your scent inside.
- Place a favourite treat or toy just inside the entrance.
- Let them explore on their own. Never force them inside.
- Reward them when they approach or settle inside.
- Move nearby beds and blankets away at first.
- Keep GIGI accessible and give them time.
Where should I place GIGI?
Place GIGI somewhere your Companion already likes to rest.
Choose a quiet corner away from busy walkways and keep the entrance clear. If they like watching the room, angle the entrance toward it rather than into a wall.
What happens when GIGI arrives?
GIGI arrives fully assembled.
Inspect GIGI before you accept it. If anything isn’t right, send it straight back with the courier. You don’t pay, or if you already have, we’ll refund you in full.

How do I clean GIGI?
Machine-wash the removable cushion cover at 30°C, then air-dry.
Remove the microfiber insert first. Never wash it; simply air it out.
Wipe the plywood with a soft, damp cloth and don’t leave it sitting in water.

Luna absolutely loves it. Also have to say the packaging was beautiful and everything arrived looking perfect, really nice experience from start to finish.
The piece
The one that turns a room into a story.
GIGI is a drum: an open slatted Baltic birch plywood cylinder that stands on a low wood base, its curved body louvred so light and air move through it the way they move through good architecture. The front opens in a clean circle; the back is a solid disc; the cushion nests into the curved base, so a Companion steps up, circles once, and folds into a form that was clearly made on purpose. It is the piece people stop in front of.
There is no cover to drape, no roof to soften, nothing to hide the structure. The slats are the design and the ventilation at once, curved and laser-cut. GIGI sits at the top of the line because it asks the most of the workshop and gives the most back to the room: a sculptural sanctuary that happens to be a place a Companion loves.
