WINDY arrives flat. Slot the walls into one another, set the ridge pole onto the peak and bolt it square with the two provided screws and Allen key, then draw the linen roof over the ridge pole and slot the sides into the side walls. Set the cushion on the floor inside. About ten minutes, and the house is standing. Ships free across Egypt within 5 business days. Cash on Delivery is available nationwide, alongside card and Apple Pay at checkout.
Materials & care
Baltic birch plywood with the laminations left visible and a soft linen roof, built in our Cairo workshop. Every cushion is carried in its own linen case with a washable cushion cover over it: lift the cushion cover off, machine-wash at 30°C, air-dry and reinsert. The Small cushion has a slim microfiber core. Medium through X-Large carry a 6 cm orthopedic foam core: never wash the foam, sun it now and then for hygiene. Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.

WINDY is the whole house: solid walls, a pitched roof, a doorway facing the room. A Companion steps through the open front, turns once, and lies down behind walls that are completely theirs, the kind of inside that lets a body fully switch off, while the doorway holds the room in view.
The walls are Baltic birch plywood, slotted and tabbed together with the laminations left visible, vented through the back and sides so the air inside keeps moving. The roof is soft linen drawn over a single ridge pole and through the side walls, linen where a ceiling would be. Four sizes carry the same house, each one sized to the body that sleeps in it.

How do I encourage my Companion to use WINDY?
A few things can help:
- Put an old T-shirt or something carrying your scent inside.
- Place a favourite treat or toy just inside the entrance.
- Let them explore on their own. Never force them inside.
- Reward them when they approach or settle inside.
- Move nearby beds and blankets away at first.
- Keep WINDY accessible and give them time.
Is WINDY suitable for an older Companion?
Yes. Medium, Large and X-Large carry a 6 cm orthopedic foam cushion that distributes weight and relieves pressure on the joints.

Where should I place WINDY?
Place WINDY somewhere your Companion already likes to rest.
Choose a quiet corner away from busy walkways and keep the entrance clear. If they like watching the room, angle the entrance toward it rather than into a wall.
What happens when WINDY arrives?
Inspect WINDY before you accept it. If anything isn’t right, send it straight back with the courier. You don’t pay, or if you already have, we’ll refund you in full.

How do I put WINDY together?
WINDY arrives flat and takes about 10 minutes to assemble:
- Slot the four plywood panels together.
- Set the ridge pole onto the peak.
- Secure it with the two provided screws and included Allen key.
- Draw the linen roof over the ridge pole, slot the sides into the side walls and secure them.
- Place the cushion inside.
How do I clean WINDY?
Machine-wash the removable linen roof and cushion cover at 30°C, then air-dry.
Remove the insert first: microfiber in Small, orthopedic foam from Medium up. Never machine-wash the foam; air it out or place it in the sun.
Wipe the plywood with a soft, damp cloth and don’t leave it sitting in water.
Are the materials safe for my Companion?
Yes. WINDY is made from Baltic birch plywood, linen and microfiber or orthopedic foam, with no harmful finishes or adhesives.
