Materials
Every piece is built from a short list of honest materials, chosen for how they serve the Companion and the room. Here is what each one is, and how to choose.
Baltic birch plywood
The frame of every sanctuary, bed, scratcher and feeder is cut from Baltic birch plywood: many thin birch veneers cross-laminated into a dense, stable board with a fine pale grain. It holds a clean edge, carries weight without flexing, and finishes smooth to the touch. It is the structure under everything we make.
Linen
Every cushion, and every roof on the houses, is sewn from natural linen. It breathes in the Cairo heat, softens with use rather than wearing thin, and the covers slide off to wash. A quiet weave, calm in colour and easy against the wood.
Scratching textures
Scratchers are made for cats, in one natural finish each. Where houses and beds are chosen by size, a scratcher is chosen by its texture, matched to how your cat scratches, climbs and rests. Each piece shows only the textures it carries; the full range lives here.

Glazed ceramic
The bowls in every Ceres feeder are glazed ceramic, fired hard and finished smooth. Ceramic sits heavier than steel or plastic, so it stays put while a Companion eats; it does not scratch or hold odours, and it wipes clean. Each bowl lifts out of the plywood frame for washing.
