A few things can help:
- Put TERRA where they already scratch, not where you would rather they scratched.
- Rub a little catnip into the carpet, or put a favourite toy on it.
- Play with them across the surface so they touch it while they are distracted.
- Reward them the moment they scratch it themselves.
- Never take their paws and put them on it.
- Give it time. A Companion can take weeks to claim something new.
Where should I place TERRA?
Start at the spot your Companion already scratches. If they work a rug or a carpet, lay TERRA over or beside it.
Somewhere they pass often works better than somewhere tidy.
Can I hang TERRA on the wall?
Yes. There’s a cord through the top edge, so you can hang it from any hook.
Put it where your Companion already reaches up to scratch, high enough for them to stretch.
Will TERRA stay put while my Companion scratches?
Yes. Anti-slip pads under each corner and one in the centre hold it steady through a hard rake.
What happens when TERRA arrives?
TERRA arrives ready to use, one flat piece, nothing to build.
Inspect it before you accept it. If anything isn’t right, send it straight back with the courier. You don’t pay, or if you already have, we’ll refund you in full.
You can also return it within 14 days if it’s in brand-new condition, unused and in its original packaging.
