A deep orthopedic cushion sits level over the platform, easing the load off hips and joints, with a cover that slides off to wash.

The platform is built up in two layers and set on its plinth, holding the largest Companion's full weight even and steady, well off the floor.

Grounded low, the rest holds firm beneath them however they turn or settle, never shifting under their weight.

Materials & care

Natural Baltic birch plywood with its laminations left visible, built by hand in our Cairo workshop. The cushion cover is removable: slip it off, machine-wash cold, air-dry and reinsert. Sun the foam cushion now and then for freshness, never wash the foam itself. Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.

SERENE also takes custom orders. If you have a particular size, finish or proportion in mind, write to us before ordering and we will shape a piece around your home and your Companion. Custom pieces are made to order, with timeline and shipping confirmed with you before work begins.
