FRAME
FRAME is the closed one. Two glazed ceramic bowls drop into a wooden box that sits low on the floor, lifting the meal to where a Companion eats with the head up and the body at ease, the daily ritual given a piece made to be kept.
Why your Companion eats at ease
The box raises the bowls off the floor to meet a Companion, so they eat without stooping to the ground and the neck and spine stay long and easy. The kinder posture a body thanks you for over the years.
Glazed ceramic with a sealed surface that holds no odour and harbours nothing, gentle against the chin and simple to keep truly clean. Its weight keeps each bowl still while a Companion eats.
Two bowls side by side, food and water always together and always ready, a fixed point a Companion learns to return to twice a day.
Why it belongs in your room
A closed wooden box, the bowls set into its top and the side panels running clean to the floor, one solid form that stands as part of the room.
Baltic birch plywood with its laminations left visible at the edge, the box cut, joined and finished by hand in our Cairo workshop.
Arrives fully assembled, complete from the moment it reaches you, the two bowls lifting in and out by hand.
The build.
A closed Baltic birch plywood box, two openings set into the top to hold each bowl level, the bodies sitting down inside the form.
Two glazed ceramic bowls that drop into the top and lift out by hand, in black or white.
Two solid panels run the full depth of the box down to the floor, open between them, holding it square and steady with no legs to wobble.
Baltic birch plywood, sanded and finished smooth by hand, warm to the touch and made to be left in full view.

The piece
The closed one.
Most feeders are a top raised on legs. FRAME closes the form. Two ceramic bowls drop into the top of a wooden box, its two side panels running clean to the floor with open space beneath, so a Companion steps up to a meal lifted to an easy height and eats with the body relaxed and the food held steady beneath them. No legs to wobble and nothing slung below, only one quiet, solid form they return to morning and night.
We build FRAME by hand in our Cairo workshop: a Baltic birch plywood box, its laminations left bare at the edge as the only mark it needs, the bowls glazed ceramic, weighted to sit still and kind against the chin. They lift straight out to fill and to wash. The heaviest, most grounded piece in the Ceres line, the everyday ritual of feeding a Companion given a form made to be kept as long as the home around it.
