Materials & care

Natural Baltic birch plywood with its laminations left visible, built by hand in our Cairo workshop. The cushion cover is removable: slip it off, machine-wash cold, air-dry and reinsert. Sun the foam cushion now and then for freshness, never wash the foam itself. Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.

ORION also takes custom orders. If you have a particular size, finish or proportion in mind, write to us before ordering and we will shape a piece around your home and your Companion. Custom pieces are made to order, with timeline and shipping confirmed with you before work begins.

ORION lays a deep cushion flat on a solid platform and raises it clear of the floor. A Companion steps up, turns once, and stretches right out on deep orthopedic foam, even support holding their full weight from end to end. Two low rounded rests frame one corner of the cushion, and the whole piece sits low and grounded, the long, open rest for a Companion who likes to sprawl.
