DUAL arrives ready to put together by hand, no tools needed. Turn each post home into the base until it seats firm, fix the small arm onto the top of each, then hang a toy from every arm. A quiet few minutes, nothing to tighten, and DUAL is standing. Ships across Egypt in 7 to 10 business days. Materials & care

Baltic birch plywood with its laminations left visible, two posts wound in natural sisal rope, and a small wooden arm over each, all built by hand in our Cairo workshop. Wipe the wood with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.

The piece

Stretch tall, scratch low.

A Companion does not scratch one way. They reach up to their full stretch, then drop low to dig and rake. DUAL gives them both on one base: a tall post to rear up against, a low post to work hard, each wound base to top in sisal rope coarse enough to take the deepest pull without ever wearing smooth. A toy swings from the top of each, within a paw’s reach, so the reach becomes a bat and the rake becomes a chase. They move between the two, high then low, and come back for more. Under all of it the weighted base stays put through every pull, the steadiness that keeps a Companion coming back. A long reach and a low rake on one base, made to be worked hard and to stand in full view.
