Shipping & assembly

ORIA arrives with the head already fixed to the post and no tools needed. Set the post onto the board and turn it home by hand until it seats firm, then screw the toy onto the head. Materials & care

Baltic birch plywood with its laminations left visible, a charcoal carpet across the board, and a post wound tight in sisal rope, built by hand in our Cairo workshop. Wipe the wood with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.

ORIA also takes custom orders. If you have a particular size, finish or proportion in mind, write to us before ordering and we will shape a piece around your home and your Companion. Custom pieces are made to order, with timeline and shipping confirmed with you before work begins.

Low to rake, up to climb.

A Companion scratches two ways, flat along the floor and up on their claws, and most pieces give them only one. ORIA gives both. A charcoal mat lies low for them to rake and sprawl across, and a sisal-rope post rises straight out of it to climb and dig, coarse enough to take the deepest pull without wearing smooth. The board stays weighted and steady under every stroke, the steadiness that earns their trust and brings them back. A wooden arm reaches across the top, and from it a toy hangs at a paw's reach, turning the scratch into play.
