AURA arrives flat, with everything needed to bring it to shape, allen key included. You bend the Baltic birch plywood sweep into its arch and bolt it square with the two dowels and four screws, then slide the cushion in. A few quiet minutes, and the canopy stands. Materials & care
A single sheet of bent Baltic birch plywood, finished in our Cairo workshop. The cushion is a 3 cm microfiber insert in a removable linen cover that slides off the dowels to wash: machine-wash at 30°C, air-dry and reinsert. Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.
Custom orders
AURA also takes custom orders. If you have a particular size, fabric, colour, finish or proportion in mind, write to us before ordering and we will shape a piece around your home and your Companion. Custom pieces are made to order, with timeline and shipping confirmed with you before work begins.

AURA is one curve of wood: a single sheet of Baltic birch plywood bent into an arch that opens at both ends, with a soft cushion slung low between two dowels beneath it. There are no walls and no floor, just a canopy overhead and a cushion that floats in the open air, lifted clear of the ground. Light and air pass straight through, and a Companion can see out on every side while still being held under the curve.

How do I encourage my Companion to use AURA?
A few things can help:
- Put an old T-shirt or something carrying your scent on the cushion.
- Place a favourite treat or toy nearby.
- Let them explore on their own. Never force them onto it.
- Reward them when they approach or settle in.
- Move nearby beds and blankets away at first.
- Keep AURA accessible and give them time.
Where should I place AURA?
Place AURA somewhere your Companion already likes to rest.
Choose a quiet corner away from busy walkways and keep both open ends easy to approach.
What happens when AURA arrives?
Inspect AURA before you accept it. If anything isn’t right, send it straight back with the courier. You don’t pay, or if you already have, we’ll refund you in full.
You can also return it within 14 days if it’s in brand-new condition, unused and in its original packaging.
AURA carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the structure. Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll sort it out immediately.
How do I put AURA together?
AURA arrives flat and goes together with the included Allen key:
- Slide the two dowels into the cushion sleeves.
- Bend the flat plywood sheet into its arch.
- Seat the two dowels between the sides.
- Secure the arch with the four provided screws.
How do I clean AURA?
Machine-wash the removable cushion cover at 30°C, then air-dry.
Wipe the plywood with a soft, damp cloth and don’t leave it sitting in water.
