Shipping & assembly

AURA arrives flat, with everything needed to bring it to shape, allen key included. You bend the Baltic birch plywood sweep into its arch and bolt it square with the two dowels and four screws, then slide the cushion in. A few quiet minutes, and the canopy stands. Ships across Egypt in 7 to 10 business days. Cash on Delivery is available nationwide, alongside InstaPay, Vodafone Cash and Orange Cash.

Materials & care

A single sheet of bent Baltic birch plywood, finished by hand in our Cairo workshop. The cushion is a 3 cm microfiber core in a removable linen cover that slides off the dowels to wash: machine-wash cold, air-dry and reinsert. Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth and keep it from sitting in water.

AURA also takes custom orders. If you have a particular size, finish or proportion in mind, write to us before ordering and we will shape a piece around your home and your Companion. Custom pieces are made to order, with timeline and shipping confirmed with you before work begins.

AURA is one curve of wood: a single sheet of Baltic birch plywood bent into an arch that opens at both ends, with a soft cushion slung low between two dowels beneath it. There are no walls and no floor, just a canopy overhead and a cushion that floats in the open air, lifted clear of the ground. Light and air pass straight through, and a Companion can see out on every side while still being held under the curve.

Where most retreats wrap a Companion in on all sides, AURA keeps everything open, shelter as a single gesture. A Lume piece, drawn as one quiet arch.
